Xiaofeng Zhang has more than 30 years of professional experience in electric energy and utility industries, with deep expertise in smart grids, electricity markets, and renewable energy. She has held senior leadership and technical roles at leading global companies in the United States, including Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), ABB, Siemens, JA Solar USA, and Howard Industrial, contributing to large-scale energy systems and market operations. She is the Founder and President of the Global Green Development Alliance (GLOGDA) and serves as Vice President of IEEE Smart Village and Chair of the ISV China Regional Committee. She has been actively involved in advancing sustainable energy, rural electrification, and smart village initiatives through the “Energy, Education, Entrepreneurship” (3E) model. In recognition of her contributions, she received the Marquis Who’s Who Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019 and is listed in Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in the World.
