Larry Li is the Founder and Managing Partner of AMINO Capital, a Palo Alto–based global venture capital firm investing in companies with durable data moats and network effects. With over $1B in assets under management, AMINO has backed hundreds of startups from seed through growth across Consumer, PLG SaaS, Frontier Tech, AI, and Web3. The portfolio includes 35 successful exits, around 20 unicorns, and more than 35 companies valued above $100M, including Chime, Webflow, Rippling, Grail, Weee!, Replit, Turing, DFINITY, OmiseGo, Wyze, and Beacons.ai. In 2010, Larry also initiated a fund that invested in Zoom’s initial funding in 2011. Larry was inducted into the Forbes Midas List in 2025 and has been featured on the Forbes Midas Seed List for three consecutive years. He was also inducted into the Asian Hall of Fame in 2024. Larry earned his B.E. from Tsinghua University, attended Tsinghua’s Graduate School of Economics and Management, and completed his M.E. at the University of Florida.
