Professor
Mr. John Li is the Senior Expert in Information Security Management, Research, and Teaching at Stanford University and Stanford Health Care, and an Adjunct Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity at the California Institute of Technology. With over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity and information systems management, he is widely recognized for his expertise in security governance and risk control across multinational organizations. John earned his Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Chicago, and also studied at Harvard University and Roosevelt University. He holds multiple global certifications, including CISM, CISA, PMP, CCNP, MCSE, and CySA+. Before joining Stanford, John held leadership roles at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Baker McKenzie LLP, and Lucent Technologies. Beyond academia, he is an entrepreneur and community leader, actively promoting U.S.-China collaboration in technology and education.
