Dr. Sue Xu is a Managing Partner at Amino Capital (since 2012) and a seasoned investor and entrepreneur who has backed ~20 unicorns and 45+ companies valued over $100M across Generative AI, SaaS, Consumer, and Frontier Tech. She previously founded and led Stanford lab spinoffs CandyHouse and CyteSi, began her entrepreneurial journey as a founding scientist at GlycoMira, and holds three patents with 20+ journal publications, including prior research experience at Stanford. Sue has spoken at the United Nations during UNGA 2024 on AI’s role in combating human trafficking and advancing the welfare of women and children. She is also active in education and thought leadership, having been featured on the Harvard HBS Women in VC Podcast and guest lectured at institutions including Cornell, the University of Hong Kong, and Georgetown, with a focus on data, FinTech, and entrepreneurship across the U.S. and China.
